I'm getting a really great gaming computer for Chiristmas this year. I've been looking for some AAA games (for cheap) to really have fun with this new system. So I just nabbed this on GMG for $3.99. That's about what I was willing to pay for this, since I heard it could be pretty buggy. I know the developer actually came out and said it won't be putting out any patches to fix the issues, so they can focus on DLC. Which just royally ♥♥♥♥♥♥ me off. Anyway, I know sometimes, fans will make their own patches or mods to games to fix these bugs. Has anyone heard of one made or being made for this game? First of all, you misunderstood the developers. What they said was that, they were working to get the final DLC out, and that they have no plans for additional fixes, because most of the game-breaking bugs had been fixed, leaving only minor ones that don't affect progression. There's a huge difference here. Second, no one has spent time fixing the game other than the developers. So no, there are no 'fan-made patches'. And third, just play the game yourself. Should you run into any game breaking issues, then start reporting. This is not true. My game stopping bug still exists in Mission 1 and no one has offered me any clues about a work around or why it is there across 2 different pc's. I have actually thought about buying a fresh retail copy. That should fix this grate problem. But I am going to try some other savegames. I am unhappy with the dev's but it is great in 3D and I plan to continue on the best I can. I am not going to buy the other Batman titles until my problem is fixed or addressed by the game developers and publisher. I paid top dollar for this. Originally posted by:This is not true. I took alot of crap for 'defending' WBM when the reality was that people were hearing what they wanted to hear, not what was actually said. Originally posted by:I wasn't aware most of the game-breaking bugs were fixed. I was under the impression they still existed. There weren't that many 'game breaking' bugs to begin with. Most of the bugs in this game are cosmetic or are simply annoyances which are easily fixed or worked around. Unfortunately, there are a few serious bugs (Killing croc flickering/disappearing, black world/infinite falling, Gothcorp lobby grapple bug) that were never properly fixed. Good news however is that these can all be worked around should you happen to experience them. Just search the forums and you'll find the info. And if I didn't intend on playing myself regardless, I wouldn't have bought it. I was just asking out of curiosity, not trying to slag the game. Well that's good, it's a great game and a great entry to the series, despite what the haters would have you believe. RdJokr/ Buck: My bug is just after the Black Mask and the Lizard Head are with the Commissioner? And a group of thugs in the prison Mission 1. After they have their cutscene Batman is supposed to crouch down at this air vent cover on the lower wall, open it and proceed on. The animation shows him trying to peel it back but it never comes open. Do you know of another way to proceed on? Like I said this is from 2 PC's, different builds, cases, etc.
